Proceeds from this event will provide vital services for impoverished wartime veterans and help us to develop a new facility.

    Purpose

Our mission is to make veterans aware of the services that they are eligible to receive. In our effort to make this vision a reality, we will secure a facility where these veterans can receive transitional housing. While in the transitional housing program, they will receive food, clothing, and medical support. In addition to this, the veterans will be evaluated by a licensed psychologist. Afterwards, they will be given information regarding agencies that can further assist them in this transformational process.

    Donations to Homeland Homeless

No matter the size of your donation, you can be assured that it will make a tremendous difference in the lives of many veterans. 100 percent of all donations received will go towards helping these homeless veterans. Our goal is to reach out to all homeless veterans including those on skid row. Homeland Homeless is recognized as a tax exempt organization under section 501(C) (3).

    “IT IS THE SOLDIER"
" It is the Soldier, not the minister Who has given us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer Who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag....”
By Father Dennis Edward O’Brien, USMC
